New Salvamac SalvaPush 2000 Automatic Cross Cut Saw

SalvaPush 2000 – Automatic & Optimising Cross-Cutting Saw

High-precision, high-efficiency wood optimisation for your cutting line.

Why Choose the SalvaPush 2000?

Leveraging over 20 years of expertise in wood-optimising technology, the SalvaPush 2000 represents a breakthrough in automated cross-cutting. Your operators simply mark wood quality and any defects — the machine handles the rest. With powerful optimisation algorithms, it calculates the best combination of cuts to minimise waste, maximize yield, and ensure safe, hands-free operation.

Key Features:

  • Advanced numerical control driven via EtherCAT

  • Brushless servo motor for precise, low-maintenance performance

  • 25° inclined infeed table for efficient loading

  • Heavy-duty pusher unit (300 × 345 × 25 mm)

  • Laser photocell for board detection

  • Luminescence reader for marking detection

  • Robust 50 mm toothed-belt transmission reinforced with steel to resist dust and wear

In-Feed Push System

Our in-feed pusher system combines speed, precision, and durability. A brushless servo motor and EtherCAT digital control deliver quiet yet powerful operation. The reinforced double-steel frame and 25° incline make loading much smoother without raising machine height. The pusher carriage is built to last — with a 300 × 345 × 25 mm plate and a steel-reinforced beam — while the 50 mm toothed belt on hardened guides offers excellent longevity and dust resistance.

Smart sensors automatically detect the presence of boards and marks, and a quick-change system allows for fast replacement of the pusher plate to minimise downtime.

Cutting Unit

The cutting unit is built for strength and precision. It features:

  • A 25° inclined feeding plane to guide material

  • A 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) motor driving a 500 mm HM circular blade

  • Adjustable cutting time (0.1 – 1 sec) via the embedded control system

  • A smart pressure beam that auto-adjusts to board thickness after the first cut

  • Two electro-pneumatic alignment devices (one before the cut, one after) to ensure exact length and positioning

  • Built-in LED lighting in the cutting chamber for better visibility

Optimisation & Electronics – SALVA-OPTIM

At the heart of the SalvaPush 2000 is the SALVA-OPTIM control system. This is a fast, reliable numerical controller with an integrated computer, designed for intuitive operation:

  • 12″ touch screen with USB connectivity

  • Real-time statistics, diagnostics, and video messaging

  • Support for up to 5 different cutting qualities

  • Remote diagnostics and support via built-in teleservice

  • Digital drive integration for brushless motors — delivering accuracy, responsiveness, and stability

  • Vibration-protected electrical panel for safety and reliability

Optional Extras

  • Outfeed Tilting Table (SalvaPush_2000TT): Rotates and unloads full cut boards in a single cycle, allowing continuous pusher return without delay. Built from hardened steel with a 700 mm-wide collection belt. Includes a reset function to safely recover after interruptions.

  • Length Selector (SalvaPush_2000LS): Sorts cut pieces by length, quality, recovery, and waste. Uses high-speed ejectors, trapezoidal belt guides, and can operate dual ejectors simultaneously. Ideal for automated waste separation and efficient piece handling.

Why It Pays Off

  • Reduced Waste — Intelligent optimisation uses defect data to maximise usable wood.

  • Increased Throughput — Fully automatic, fast cycle times, minimal manual intervention.

  • Reliability — All-steel construction, high-quality motor and transmission components, and long-life electronics.

  • Safety — Automated feeding, light-guarded cutting area, and intuitive software reduce human risk.

  • Scalable — Optional outfeed systems integrate seamlessly for more automation.
